Shipping FAQ

If you had a shipping account with us prior to december 2012, you will need to register a new account.

q: i am trying to place an order, but there is nowhere to enter my credit card information.

a: please try clearing your cache and/or using a different browser. we see this problem occasionally from people who are using internet explorer to access the website, and strongly recommend switching to firefox, safari, or google chrome to place your order if you experience this problem. if you have done both of these things and are having no luck, please get in touch and we will process your order manually via a secure online invoice.

q: can i use my momofuku reservation system account (ko, bo ssam, fried chicken, milk bar pick up) to place a shipping order?

a: no. you can either create a new account on our shipping website or check out as a guest. you do not need an account to place a shipping order with milk bar.

q: when will my order ship?

a: ups ground & 2nd day air: orders received before 12pm est are shipped same day monday-wednesday. all other orders ship on the following monday.
next day air: orders received before 12pm est are shipped same day monday-thursday. all other orders ship on the following monday.
please note: these are general guidelines, our shipping rules may change during the holidays or due to UPS closures. we do not guarantee same day shipping on any order. Please always check our shipping rules page for the most up to date information.

q: once it ships, how long will it take for my order to arrive?

after you have received your tracking # you can typically expect your package to arrive within 1-3 days.
next day air: within 1 business day
2nd day air: within 2 business days
ground: in NY, ground takes 1 business day. Outside of NY, 1-3 business days.

q: my order didn’t arrive on time!

a: once a package ships from our kitchen, we are not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, inaccurate shipping information, or the drop off policy of our carriers. we do not require a signature for delivery on any order.

q: can i add a gift message to my order?

a: yes. during checkout you will have the option of including a gift message with your order.

q: why is overnight the only option for shipping a pie or cake?

a: our pies and cakes are time and temperature sensitive, so overnight shipping is the only option we offer. if there’s a pie or cake in your shopping cart, we’ll overnight everything in your order so everything arrives at the same time.

q: can i cancel or change my order?

a: we start working on your order as soon as it’s placed, so we do not allow any changes or cancellations. please carefully review your order before placing it.

q: do you offer returns/refunds?

a: no. we do not offer returns or refunds on any orders unless there was an error in our manufacturing, packaging or handling of your order.

q: What about international shipping?

a: we offer international shipping whenever possible. please submit an international shipping request to inquire about shipping rates. keep in mind that shipping perishable products across borders can be quite a feat! but we do our best to accommodate our international fans whenever possible.

q: This is a gift, will the receipt have pricing information?

a: Our packing slips are gift friendly. They include a list of the items in the box, the purchasers name and contact information, and your gift note. No prices are included.
